Wuhan is the second of two Type 052B, or Guangzhou class (NATO: Luyang 1 class), guided missile destroyers in service with the People's Liberation Army Navy. Commissioned in 2004, Wuhan is 155m (508.5 feet) long, displacing an estimated 6,500 tons at full load. You can see the four quad launch tubes for the YJ-83 (NATO: CSS-N-8 Saccade) anti-shipping missile just aft of the funnel. Wuhan also mounts a 100mm (3.9") gun forward, with torpedo tubes, anti-submarine mortars, Type 730 CIWS, and two pedestal style launchers for surface-to-air missiles. She can accommodate a Kamov Ka-27 helicopter in a hangar.
