UMS Mahar Bandoola (F-22)

Anshun (FFG 554) was a Chinese Type 053H1 frigate, launched in March, 1986. Commissioned 27 June, that same year, she served with the South Sea Fleet until March, 2012, when she was decommissioned and transferred to Myanmar. Recommissioned as UMS Mahar Bandoola (F-21) her armament appears to be largely unaltered from Chinese service. This consists of a pair of twin 100mm (3.9") guns, eight 37mm guns, two quadruple launchers for C-802 anti-shipping missiles, a pair of RBU-1200 anti-submarine rocket launchers, depth charges, and up to sixty mines. Her hull number was changed from F-21 to F-22 in 2016.
