History

Laid down in 2015, BNS Durgam (P814) is a Durjoy-class large patrol craft. Built in Bangladesh, she commissioned 8 November, 2017, and is specialized for anti-submarine warfare. Durgam has a Chinese-designed NG 16-1 76.2mm main gun, with a CS/AN2 30mm autocannon, and two triple torpedo tubes for the TCU42A. Anti-air defense is limited to what the guns can provide. Durgam is capable of 25 knots on her diesels, and has a cruise range of 2,000 nautical miles. The seventy-strong crew can stay at sea for fifteen days.
