History

Ordered from Yarrow Shipbuilders in Britain, SMS Boa was a Cobra-class torpedo boat of the Austro-Hungarian Navy. Boa was based on a British design, purchased by the Austro-Hungarians from Yarrow in 1895. She was renamed Torpedoboot 15 in 1910. After seeing light duty in the First World War as convoy escort and minesweeper, Tb 15 was allocated to the British as a war prize in 1920. She was immediately sold for scrap to an Italian firm.
