SLNS Suranimala (P702)
SLNS Suranimala (P702) is a Sa'ar 4 class missile boat of the Sri Lankan Navy. Originally named Moledet, she was launched in 1979 for Israeli service, and sold to Sri Lanka in 2000. Suranimala displaces 450 tons, and is 58m (190 feet) long. She has an excellent cruise range for her size, 4,000 nautical miles, with a flank speed of 34 knots. While the Israelis reequipped her for anti-submarine warfare, she still retains the ability to use the Gabriel II anti-shipping missile.
