INS Rahav (2013)
INS Rahav is an Israeli Dolphin 2 class diesel electric submarine, built in Germany. Launched in April, 2013, she entered service 12 January, 2016. Rahav displaces 2,050 tons on the surface, and has top speed in excess of 25 knots. She carries ten munitions tubes, six of which are the internationally common 21" (533mm) diameter, the other four being 26" (650mm) diameter. Possible munitions include DM-2A4 Seehake wire-guided torpedoes, UGM-84C Harpoon anti-ship missiles, and Triton anti-helicopter missiles. Rahav and her sisters may also be capable of deploying Israeli nuclear weapons, operating in the deterrence role.
